Mentoring Program
Updated Jul30, 2009
A mentor is someone who enjoys providing training, encouragement, advice, help in woodturning techniques, building jigs, and other woodturning related help for our club members. Most of these events will consist of a meeting of the mentor with an individual. The intent is hands on tutoring rather than demonstration. Or, you can contact the listed mentors with your questions and they will listen to your requests, decide how they can best help and they will provide you with telephone assistance, invite you to their shop, or come to your shop. This is an offer you need to take advantage of. All you need to do is ask. Phone numbers and e-mail addresses are provided below. You can also talk to them at our club meeting.

Quote from Member Mark Anthony:
"We had a good time learning and talking shop. The mentoring program is one of the most beneficial elements of the club. Not only do we benefit from years of other folks expertise, but new friendships are made as well. It is a great program, and I would encourage others to take advantage of this opportunity".
