I wish my turnings could match their depth, breadth and beauty, but I think my lathe would have to be MUCH larger, and the operator more skilled than he will become in this lifetime. Hello Woodturners! The month of May in the Lone Star State is certainly a mixed bag for weather. From the mid 40’s to the high 90’s, sunny to stormy to dangerous in the space of a deep breath, or a long sigh, if you don’t like the weather here, then wait five minutes. Friends in the Azalea District may spend months ge�ng their homes and lives back together, and folks in Gilmer and other areas lost a lot of trees, some well over 100 years old.
