 Prez says: Welcome to Fall Fellow Woodturners! First off, The October In-Person Meeting is on OCTOBER 23!! Due to scheduling issues with TJC, we were forced to move the meeting this month. Hopefully, this is a one-time occurrence (yeah, right) and we will get into a routine soon. It was great last month to see people in person at the meeting and the turn-out was actually a little better than I expected. Given who the second half demonstrator was last month it proves to me once again that not only are woodturners by and large a forgiving group but easily entertained as well. This month we have a visiting turner, Marion McDaniel who lives in the Dallas area. His demo will be on turning a nice size snowman including the finishing and decorating. Just in time for Christmas, this will come in handy. Speaking of Christmas, we need to get started on turning spinning tops for the Toys for Tots program. ....
